HIV Prenatal Class Information

The Pediatric AIDS Chicago Prevention Initiative (PACPI) developed prenatal classes specifically for pregnant women with HIV entitled Making Sense of HIV and Pregnancy. These classes are designed to educate and prepare HIV-positive women for pregnancy, labor and delivery, and the postpartum period.

Classes are held once a week for 3 consecutive weeks at various locations in Chicago. You may register for classes either through your specialty HIV/OB nurse or by calling PACPI at 312-334-0971. Pre-registration is required. Special arrangements can be made for Spanish-speaking women and those residing outside of the Chicagoland area.
