CDC Revised Surveillance Case Definition for HIV Infection - 2014
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention revised the surveillance case definition for HIV infection. The changes were announced in the Morbidity and Mortality Weekly Report released on April 11, 2014. The revisions were made to address multiple issues, the most important of which was the need to adapt to recent changes in diagnostic criteria.
