Safe Conception for Serodifferent Couples

Providers from the National Perinatal HIV Hotline and Clinicians' Network penned a letter to the editor of the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome regarding their experiences consulting on reproduction for couples where one person is HIV-positive and one person is HIV-negative.  The Hotline has seen a rise in recent years in requests for referrals for couples interested in conceiving safely.  The authors urge providers to consider the reproductive concerns of couples throughout their care process and be cognizant of their desires for families.
