Primary Care Pediatrician Management of HIV-Exposed Infant

This article addresses the ability of the primary care pediatrician to effectively manage the HIV-exposed infant. It encourages consultation with the infectious disease specialist but emphasizes that primary care providers are capable of caring for these infants in their practice. Medication and testing regimes are reviewed as well.
