Need for Improved Integration of STD/HIV and Contraceptive Services

An analysis of data from a 2002 CDC survey revealed a documented need for improved integration of contraceptive services with STD/HIV services. Investigators estimated that 35% of single young sexually active women who received contraceptive services were not offered concurrent STD or HIV services.
