Exposure to ARV In Utero and Neurological Development

Review of HIV-exposed, uninfected children that were exposed to ARV while in utero showed no significant difference in scores on some cognitive indices than those not exposed to ARV. Testing was done at two years of age and scores were controlled for demographics and potential confounders. Long-term outcomes should still be monitored for these children.
