Current Progress in Prevention of Mother-To-Child Transmission
Recent work as a result of a global push from the United Nations has seen reductions of perinatal transmission rates, as well as overall improvement in maternal health. Continued work, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa, is needed to meet the global elimination target of <5%.
