Previous ARV Exposure Does Not Impede PI-Based Treatment in Pregnant Women

Data from the French Perinatal Cohort provide reassurance that women previously treated with antiretroviral therapy were not adversely affected during protease inhibitor based treatment during pregnancy. However, the percentage of women with undetectable viral load at delivery was disappointing and the reasons for this are not clear.
