Pregnancy Incidence Lower Among HIV-Infected Women

Results recently published from the ongoing Women's Interagency HIV Study (WIHS) reveal that pregnancy incidence among HIV-infected women remains lower despite the beneficial effects of modern antiretroviral therapy. The study authors conclude that whether lower incidence is due to behavioral differences or reduced fertility is an area for further study.
