Postpartum HIV Care for Women in Mississippi
A study of HIV-infected pregnant women in Mississippi found only 37% had two or more visits with an HIV specialist in the year following delivery. Women who presented before the third trimester of pregnancy had better follow-up rates than those with late trimester presentation.
