Hepatotoxicity in HIV-Infected Pregnant Women on ART

An analysis of HIV-infected pregnant women on antiretroviral therapy and HIV-infected nonpregnant women from multicenter prospective cohorts demonstrated that pregnancy was significantly associated with hepatotoxicity. There was no significant association between nevirapine and liver enzyme elevation regardless of pregnancy status.
