Ethics and Implications of Opt-Out HIV Screening for Pregnant Women

This article is a review of case studies around the use of opt-out HIV screeening for pregnant women.  Authors explored the ethical considerations of this type of screening as compared to opt-in HIV screening, and its potential effect of prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV.
